ChargeBox was launched at its first large event recently at the inaugral Sydney 500 V8 Supercar street race. As part of the Team Vodafone and Triple 8, 888 Racing Team stand ChargeBox and Vodafone were offering free battery charging for the race fans. The benefit of being able to drop by and rely on Vodafone to get fans out of a tight squeeze when their phone batteries were dead or dying was a major plus.
